Hexus Mini-meet - Central London - 28th January

Hi all!

We (me, Honoop and 99Flake) are planning a bit of a mini-meet for London based Hexites.

(I'm coming from St Pauls, THAflake from Tonbridge and MissHonoop from Chancery Lane)

The plan is to find some dinner - then a few drinkies. (If there are a few of us, we might wanna book somewhere to eat, but we'll see how this one pans out.)

Meeting at Covent Garden Tube at 6pm ish then we'll find somewhere to eat. (if anyone needs a bit more time, to get from work or something, let us know, I'm sure we can find somewhere to have some aperitifs first!)

I may be over in Docklands on the 28th dropping a server off at Telehouse. If I get that confirmed (it's subject to me actually getting the box installed and some paperwork done) then I'll head over afterwards. I should be finished there in plenty of time to get over and parked up in China Town.

It really is a shame that you're the only person here with any organisational skills! Otherwise this could be happening more often (and take some of the pressures off of you for the biggies!)

But it seemed a good idea as there are usually enough hexites in/around London of a day/evening.

Can i strongly urge not too have the meating point as covent garden tube station at 6pm.

It will be packed, as its only just stopped been 'Exit Only'. People would be better off trying to meet at somewhere like the cove, which is about 2 minutes walk away from the tube station, but very easy to find (above the west cornwall pasty co), yet not normally busy because why would you look for a pub above a cornish pasty shop!

True, but we were only using covent garden as a starting point, knowing that the All knowing Animus would come through with a blinding idea.

I don't see the problem with meeting outside CG station. At the moment it's just Rai, 99 and I meeting and we all know what one another looks like.

If it turns out that more people want to join us, then yes an alternate meeting place would probably be a good idea and your suggestion sounds viable Animus, ta very much.

Its not that i'm meaning to be bossy, and its a good idea, its just that cov g station is often really packed (you watch, now i've prophesised its going to be a rainy day or something and there won't be a sole about.)
