i thought we were going to do it round someone house aswell.. oh well.. large groups of people scare me... and anything where theres an organised event structure REALLY scares me...

I'm not saying that the event at someone house will be amaturish, just that it will be compared to GameOn or iseries.. and thats what i would've preferred.. and we could alter the rules/structure how we see fit. and also make it so if we get 'fragged' then we down a shot o' whisky or something. drunk gaming is always fun...

i'll save voting until the location has been made definite (only if its easy to get to or i've got job and car and better computer by then, and at someones house....)

well we do have 10 "yes please"s, so that would actually be enough. if we could get a date everyone could agree on and a location then we could just do a hexus one

I'd be up for this, large lans don't interest me at all, but a small one does. Any chance of 360's being present, for some halo 3 / call of duty 4? I'd be willing to bring mine, only have one controller though lol

I prefer the smaller LANS as everyone gets to chat to everyone else. With the bigger LANS, you do not have this ability as there is over 1000 people there and your bound not to bump into 1 or 2 people.

My first LAN was actually at the gameon LAN a few years ago where I met Platinum, Betty, Bobster and a few other GO lanners that are on here as well.

Did I enjoy it? Yeap - that's why I went back for another 3 LANS after that. It's a shame I've been so busy last year with work and play (read that as festivals) as I missed out on a few LANS, but this year I want to make up for that

Plat - get the roofrack out

I remember that TA squaddy kicking what he thought was an abandoned sleeping bag to move it out of his way only to find you curled up in it.
You should have seen his face.

The recent Gameon lans have been more of a turbocharged mates gaming session rather than the i series type monster lan.
    Much more fun I feel.

Another Vote for A GO LAN here, nice friendly atmosphere, no epeen and you can do your own thing if you want.

There normally a couple of 360's

So, in the absence of the GameOn LAN, do we wanna give this one in Uttoxeter a go?

We'll be making an appearance at iSeries too as part of the MFestival I think. Not sure

We can obviously always do a GameOn as well when they have got one organised, have never said that we will stick to one, would be good to get our name known across the country!

I will have some discussions with DR about the use of the HEXUS branding (t-shirts for something like this are always good - we've discussed it before for the Social)

This will be hard work, but I think we can make this happen, don't you?!
