    HEXUS.social - Group LAN team

Ok... so following on from the LAN thread earlier, we've been bandying about the idea of having a load of us go to a LAN event.

I will clear it with the boss about rules and regulations regarding the HEXUS name, so this one will take a bit of organising.

    An Idea:
CentralanUK :: Extreme PC Gaming :: CLUK 22 (Staffordshire - quite central - got a good response to feb) - I've chosen this one so I've got enough time to sort things out - I'm also away for the july event.

I will contact them to see if we can get a better rate if we get a bulk amount of people to signup.

So, Who's in for TeamHEXUSLan (THL? I like )

Put your names here too as I forgot to tick the box in the poll thing.... duh!

I'd be up for it, but if its Feb 09 then that'll just be the start of my 48 week placement - so I/my employer might not be keen on me taking a day or two off almost staight away - I wont be able to confirm that for a few months though!

A second vote for Gameon here. Very friendly lan.

Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it

I can vouch for the gameon, or should that be gaymon LAN's being one of the best I've been to. There's no e-penis waving in regards to rig specifications, people music tastes etc, it's just a group of like minded people who want to have a hedonistic weekend of gaming, drinking and of course the legendary Mrs Rasher's LAN Burgers to satisfy your hunger

I didn't say that one was for definite! Just had a look!

If i can build a group of people interested in going then we can look into where to go!

(oh and GameOn don't seem to have any on for the rest of this year that they know about... bit difficult to book something that doesn't exist!)

Gameon will have at least 2 this year, a typical end of summer LAN usually in August Bank Holiday weekend as it's always the same time as Creamfields - Yes I know this from past experiences.

Then they typically have 1 near the end of November/ start of Dec time just before christmas. I remember going to 1 just days after my birthday and getting kicked by a squaddy at the TA barracks

Platin00b - poke Rasher and find out when's the next one
