Dreamhost - They've had problems over the last year or so, but you get massive bandwidth (1.69TB on basic package) and disk space (169GB on basic package) allowances, and these increase weekly.

Very friendly and responsive customer support as well.

Still use 3dpixelnet.com myself - but the Foundation behind an OpenSource project I'm involved in has recently moved to Surpass hosting - which do some pretty good packages as well.

Here's my two cents:

Have been with Liquid Six for about 9 months now and their service is good, their features are good and they're reasonably quick - can choose to be based in UK or US.

evohosting are very impressive. Their support is very good and their speeds are phenominal.

Whoever you choose, make sure you do a good google search beforehand... try to find out whether the company has been around very long, how big they are, whether they own their own equipment or are just a reseller of a reseller of a reseller etc.
