Music conversion software that keeps album art?

    Hi all

I'm looking to convert my entire music collection to 128kbps mp3's for my phone. It's currently a mixture of mp3 and m4a files at different bitrates.

Now, all my music has proper tags and album art, but I've tried using Format Factory to convert it all and it removed all the album art.

So is there a better music conversion app out there that will keep the album art of indeed an app that can automatically re-download the album art to the mp3's I've already converted??

    Thanks for any help!

Not sure about the conversion bit, but for adding album art into all my mp3s for listening on the PS3, I used MP3tag. Just highlight the tracks, tell it the name of the file you want to use as album art (usually folder.jpg) and set it going. I think it took about 1/2 an hour to do mine.

i'm not sure about the artwork, but checkout mediamonkey, which is a great itunes alternative

one of the great features it has is the ability to synch media and convert on the fly to a different format

thus for example, you have a mix of music in all sizes of mp3, plus flag and ogg and shn, etc, and you want it all on your mp3 player in 128kbp mp3. you can do that

the benefit is that you don't have to have your collection on your pc in both the original files and a copy in the alternate bitrate/filetype. you can if you want to, it gives you the option to copy/convert

foobar does the copy convert thing too, but i think MM could be ideal for you
