    Exclamation RealOne Player General Error

    Hi Guys,

Whenever I try to play any real player content (like off the BBC website) I get a message saying 'A General Error Has Occured' and it won't play. I've reinstalled it three or four times and it has made no difference. I've even tried disabling Zone Alarm (which we have running) but it made no difference. Any ideas? I've got an ADSL connection btw and I'm running XP with SP1.

    Thanks

have you tried updating / reinstalling your graphics card drivers? or updating direct X? could be a number of things i guess.

do other media players work okay - dvd? windows media player? quicktime?

Thanks for the reply Josh. All other media applications are working fine at the minute, it's just real player. I'll try updating direct x, but if this doesn't work anyother ideas? I really don't want to have to reinstall windows!

    Thanks
