Ninite All in 1 Installer, Useful for fresh installs of your OS

    https://ninite.com/

Came across this website recently and its really helpful. Just select the programs you want and press 'Get Installer'. It downloads all the selected apps as 1 package and installs them for you.
'Ninite installs apps for you in the background. No clicking next. We say NO to toolbars or other junk'

I've used ninite for years on every machine I rebuild, great way to get basic apps back on machine.

On my parents machine I have the ninite exe saved and I run it every couple months when I go home to update everything on there.

A HUGE +1 on Ninite, used it for every single PC I have assembled, and although it doesn't include everything I need, it saves HOURS.

Yeah, Ninite is great, introduced it to some family/friends who aren't super tech savvy for its ease of use. Much safer/cleaner way of installing also, no forgetting to uncheck malware boxes for toolbars etc,

Also, it will update any apps that are already installed so just create a scheduled task to run the installer once a month and you'll always have the latest versions. Can disable any bespoke updater's as well (Adobe, Java...I'm looking at you) and stop the nagging. You can use CCleaner to do that.

Re: Ninite All in 1 Installer, Useful for fresh installs of your OS

I would use Ninite on all reinstalls of Windows that I do, if it had the option during the installer to select which programs to install, as I would prefer to have just on program on my external HDD to open and then select the applications then. Regardless, a truly excellent idea and I would still recommend it to anyone.

Ninite is really useful, the only thing that I want changed, and it's really minor, is to choose which desktop shortcuts to make.
