    PlexPass worth while?

    Hey all,

As title really. Does anyone use plexpass? What are the benefits of subscribing as the website seems a bit fuzzy.

I have a file server which I steam stuff from to my mobile/tablet would I benefit?

Main benefits are access to new features and multi user for me.
But also sync to device and sync to cloud are the other useful things.

I purchased my lifetime plex pass last week, just before they announced the massive price increase.
Wouldn't spend $150 on it, but was worth the $75 (£40odd) as I am starting to use it more across the families devices.

The biggest benefit for me is the ability to download to my phone/tablet for when I'm out of reach of a wireless network, without the hassle of needed to encode the video for the specific device manually

What he said, it's really useful for 'syncing' stuff to say your iPad, prior to going on holiday etc...
