Question I have Lag Videos problem in any player : Graphhics is Intel HD2500.

    HI..
    I notice a lag for video playing in my PC. i3 3220 , HD2500, 8GB. 1080p @ AOC i2769vm
It is a little lag but it is really annoying. I think HD2500 is capable of playing videos at normal FPS.

    I tried
    Re Installing graphics drivers.
    Re installing codecs.

    Tested using
MP Classic , Pot Player and KM Player with all known codecs but all result were same.

    How I solve this?

    VLC?

    Try to disable hardware decoding?

What do you mean by 'lag'? Is sound out of sync with video, or is it juddery? Or something else?

Also, which codecs? Aside from graphics panel settings, they'd be the next thing I'd check.

In general, unless something is broken, hardware acceleration should only go to help smooth video playback. However VLC seems to have issues with acceleration on some media, and IIRC until recently Intel's GPU had trouble with certain video framerates.

Re: I have Lag Videos problem in any player : Graphhics is Intel HD2500.

I recently installed a video player/streamer and it recommended I installed video codecs. Once I had done so, VLC crashed often and would stutter a lot.

Once I uninstalled everything, it worked again.

Not just VLC. A lot of Flash/streamed content in a combination of driver/browser version also produces strange behaviour. Solution again: disable hardware acceleration. Funny, it never once happened on any of my mobile devices...

Re: I have Lag Videos problem in any player : Graphhics is Intel HD2500.

**. lag mean the videos Playing clearly slow time to time. it is not a sync problem. Some times I can clearly notice see frame to frame delay.
I reinstalled codecs for many times but still no luck.
    Tried using VLC but same.
The things is those videos played well on my friends computers, even in core2duos.
So Seems I have something wrong in my system, Is this may be related to the Graphics HW, How can I check it?

What codec pack are you using? That really could be a problem.

It shouldn't affect VLC as it uses its own codecs, but it's still worth checking, and I wouldn't put it past some codec packs to somehow replace VLC's codecs too.

    +1 to that
Whatever the new videoplayer you installed is, it sounds as if it installed some pups to make performance worse using other video services/programs.

I tested on VLC too, and as the final approach I tested installing two new OS, both windows 8 and 10 but the result is same.
I think all points to the Hardware, what can it be? Processor or ram? I am really worried because, I can't get a warranty with those symptoms.

What video is it, locally stored/dvd or streaming?
Just to rule out a network issue.

You could just get a very cheap graphics card instead of RMAing the motherboard.

After a few years, the integrated graphics chip on one of my motherboards starting playing up *pixels and crap*, so i just disabled it via bios and stuck a 5450 low profile, low wattage card in.

How often does the issue occur, and could it be related to the '24p issue'? Some details of that here: http://www.anandtech.com/show/4083/t...-2100-tested/7
