    VC redist DLL downloads

Bit of an odd one, because I can think of several ways to get these normally, but I'm in work, can't install anything, and need the base dlls for the VC (and VC++) 2013. Frustratingly I have Visual Studio installed ... but 2010, not 2013, so I don't have access to the right version!

Anyone know of a trustworthy download site for the base dlls, that won't infect my work computer with a ton of crapware?

    Cheers guys

Can you use the likes of 7-zip or Universal Extractor to get the DLLs out of the official MSIs / installers themselves?

And if you download them somewhere, as long as the digital signatures on the DLLs from Microsoft are intact they should be safe. But you can google the file MD5s if you are paranoid!

Had a look at that but they're packed in a non-extractable form in the installer, sadly.

It's not so much a case of paranoia as needing to be seen to be completely above board when using work-provided IT.

In the end I downloaded and installed the appropriate redist - directly from MS - on one of my home computers last night and brought them in on a work-provided USB stick. I'd've done that yesterday, but I didn't realise I'd need them until I was already in work!
