I use Microsoft EDGE. Yes I know.
I use Microsoft EDGE. Yes I know.
I've used them all and I think Chrome is best.
IE, Chrome, and Firefox.
I find that a single browser does not do everything that I expect of them, so I flip between when one of them gets on my nerves.
As above except replace Internet explorer with Safari. I hardly ever have to run Internet explorer. A number of the web based GUIs I use on a daily basis are very particular to Firefox for some reason and throw up bizarre errors in IE.

Opera all day. I've gotten crazy used to being able to search with quick shortcuts in url bar, e.g. "s <product name>" for scan. ive got so many custom searches up any site i use with a search bar pretty much goes on my list
Firefox mainly, not had any issues myself, but may be worth backing up your bookmarks, removing FF and doing a clean FF install with the latest download version.
Mostly Chrome with some Firefox
IMO Chrome is the best, or the most handful/easy to use.
I liked that feature with the Duck Duck Go search engine, how just typing !G or !A or !a whole bunch of stuff took you to that site.
I used to use Opera a while back, but haven't used it in a while. I'm starting to feel attached to Chrome because of the extensions I use, are there many on Opera?
ETA - In fact are there other browsers that can use the chrome extensions without all the monitoring stuff? Does Chromium do that?
Sadly/Happily (depending on your POV) Opera is now based on Chrome, so most if not all Chrome extensions should work with it. The closest thing out there to the old Opera is Vivaldi which I'm keeping an eye on but is in alpha and not really suitable as a daily driver.
But so less usable. I like that it's relatively quick and stable, but there are so many features missing - the key one for me being a "search for..." option in the context menu. I didn't realise just how much I use that until it wasn't there: now if I read something in edge that I want to know more about I highlight it, copy it, and paste it into the address bar in a chrome tab!
If that was there it might drive me towards edge as my main browser: it's particularly good in tablet mode. But without that I keep coming back to chrome.

Chrome has it. Internet Explorer has it! iirc IE's version has a default search engine directly on the context menu, with an expanding side menu for other search engines, which is customisable. It's a great feature. I assume it's been left out of edge for not being very touch friendly, but I'd rather have the option...
Unfortunately, yes.
In fact, I even tried using the Windows version years ago when they tried to get a foot into that market.......quite possibly the worst "modern" broswer I've ever used on Windows.
Even the majority of the die-hard mac fans I know use Chrome due to Safari being underwhelming.

That's a good idea. You could try posting it on the MS Edge dev forum (if it isn't already there). I'd vote for it, even though I'm mainly a Chrome user:
