the one thing I'm wondering about is the free upgrade license itself.
mums computer is running win 7 fine and dandy, she quite likes it and objects to change. I put chrome on, but she doesn't use it, uses internet explorer because its got internet in the name, that's what you go on the internet with. old people logic
so, say I upgrade to win 10 and get the free upgrade license, which will assign a key to the machine, so can reinstall and auto-activate win 10 as many times as I like. then she doesn't like win 10, so use the inbuilt 'rollback to win 7' option.
will the win 10 key still be assigned at the reg-server end? so if my mum changes her mind again later in the year after the free upgrade ends, I could just put a fresh Win 10 on and it will still auto-activate?
I'm guessing its a case of 'wait and see'. just wondering if anyone else has the same conundrum.
