Microsoft Office Word 2010

Greetings.

When i start Microsoft Word i receive following error message:
Command cannot be performed because a dialog box is open.
i have no idea how to stop this error.
Please suggest me how to fix Word.

Is there a dialogue box open but at the edge of the screen. IIRC alt tab steps through all the windows and may show the dialogue box.

Close word ( kill it with Task manager if required )

Go to C:/users/yourusername/applicationdata/local OR roaming / microsoft / Delete the Word folder

Re-open Word and all should be good.
