Pass Recovery stored in Mozilla Firefox...

    Hello.
I'm trying to recover a WEB password that is hidden behind the asterisks "*******" & stored in Mozilla Firefox on my PC.
    I've forgotten the Pass & I can't login anymore!

Is there any tool/program, or method to recover (not disable) the pass from mozilla firefox?

    I’m using WinXP SP-2 & Mozilla Firefox.

    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Personally I would say it would be a good thing not being able to recover online shopping etc passwords... Imagine someone steals your PC.

ok just had another look and you can set a master password, but if you dont have one set then anybody can see your passwords. you should at least be prompted to this upon installing firefox because i had no idea.

No, for it to be secure it should be user centric. This means if you want to protect it, it should be encrypted by the password that you use to log into the computer.

The above instructions i gave will result in much safer storage.
