i only caught wind of this last night when i was on the PSN store articles - never even herd of 'Home'
hopefully it will be a test onto see the capacity for the start of console MMO type games. the ideas i read are sound and could prove to be fun. what i read from the store is that it is to be released in March and will be a free download for anyone.
its basically a virtual world, kind of like the Sims but online, where you can meet people, buy an apartment and customize it with items from your hard drive, share files, watch other peoples movies in the cinema and such - i know its been done a few times but i look forward to it - could be fun.

Yeah we have talked about this a bit in the past, i missed out on the beta trials, had the home beta download in my us store but left it too long. Will be good to meet up, as a multiplayer lobby, and see each others apartments and achievments...It creates 64 player rooms and any1 in the world can join, as soon as the number reaches 64 then the world replicates itself for another set of 64 user's. And if they are french it automatically translates to your own language.
Do you use the US store as well as the uk prime?? if not create another user profile and select US as your location..
You can have the us,uk and jap store to choose your pickings (uk store is really poor)

aaah, i didnt know you could.
im just using the UK store which says we get it in March but i will definitly set up a US account to see the changes, agreed - it is pretty lame i think the only things i have gotten from it are Guitar Hero Packs, Hitman movie trailer and the COD4 theme

Home has been in the making for ages now. Think most have given up on it although the release date is supposedly 'fall' this year.
