Army of Two
This was reviewed on gamerTV over the weekend, they gave it 9 out of 10.
It looked really good the way you and a team mate help each other out, def gonna get this, and it's out this weekend. I watched a part where as one is parachuting down the other jumps on his back and starts shooting whilst floating down.... Army of Two (ps3: 2008): Reviews Whats the chance of hexus reviewing it for when it comes out? |

Re: Army of Two
im so exited about this game!
just read a review that slipped past our internet security from: GameRevolver.com - Article: Army of Two - Reviewed its going to be amazing! its the only console, gun combat game known to me that actually uses AGGRO in a way i've been waiting for for ages! draw enemies fire while ur partner moves to cover/objective (bout bloody time). FULLY customizable game play from armor, weapons, weapon add-ons, gadgets. hell, even armor paint. and online death match/ CO-OP!!!!! |

Nice 1 mate...I'll keep sending you messages so you gotta keep coming out of the game to read them!!!!!lol your have tolet me know what it's like. I wonder how they deal with friends online, say if your playing a random then a friend goes online...how easy is it to get your mate in the game? hope its as seamless as burnout.

Re: Army of Two
WEWT!
this game is insanely good! got home at 5pm yesterday with it and wacked it straight on - i decided to play the game as Eliot Salem (the smaller one). the controls are easy and effective, the action is insane, the cut scenes are awesome and the char modding is quality ![]() there are also a few VERY cool little bits in the game which raise the fun even more: *after being hit and you go down, your partner will run and drag you to safety before giving you first aid but as he is dragging you you pull out your rifle and shoot as your being dragged ![]() *if your parter does good you can high five or give props to them to let them know on the other hand if they do bad then you can headbutt them or smack them round the head ![]() the AI of both the enemy and partner are very good at times with only a few glitches i could go on all day naming the good points of the game but i'd be here all day, there are a few negs to it too but the following don't really put me off it in any way as they don't come close to the positives: *Campaign is a bit short, i managed to finish it last night BUT im going to go through it again with Tyson Rios and its a totally different style of playing. *when you buy new weapons and mods, your partner gets access to them too BUT you cannot select what they use which is a bit frustrating as alot of the tactics are based on aggro and flanking your enemy so when im using a silenced assault rifle and Tyson is also using a silenced assault rifle that i bought he doesn't gain enough aggro away from me for me to flank . . . even though i just spent a wedge buying a Minigun for him lol .*aiming is a bit slow when on the move, leaving you open to getting hit if you are angled too far away from close enemies, i found this when i bought the desert eagle for some close kills and as someone moves from an obstacle away from my centre - he manages to get a few shots on me before i blow their brains out. and thats it for the negs ![]() soon as i get in im going to be trying the game on professional and buy all the weapons and modding before i try it online ![]() BUY THIS GAME!!!!! edit: the simple use of the six-axis is pretty cool too, use it to reload and to control the parachute ![]() edit 2: the 'Back to Back' combat sections are pretty cool too - the movement as you cross over is VERY smooth ![]() |
