    Haze.

Did anyone download the Haze demo last night? I downloaded it, but didn't have the chance of playing yet. So if anyone has played it, any comments to make?

where's it at? i looked in both uk and us stores at about 11pm last night and didnt see the Haze demo. I'll take another look tonight, i think because of the delay this is going to turn out pretty good.

    Re: Haze.

Well after a blast last night i cant help feeling a little dissapointed.
I dont know if it's because i got one of the biggest games of the year in the ps3 waiting to be played. It is very short, the graphics were ok.
Report more back later only got a few mins spare.

    Anyone tried it coop yet?

I gave the single player a whirl. I wasn't expecting much, and still managed to be underwhelmed. The controls did feel wonderful tho. Very smooth, giving me the idea that MP/coop might be fun.

I was really looking forward to this, and I'm again disappointed at what the PS exclusive games have to offer.

Well considering this is still only a demo, for me the ps3 exclusive titles have been better than ports. Uncharted, Rachet, Gt5p all are great games.
It's not down to it being ps3 exclusive, with numerous delays its more the dev team not getting the game up to standards

    Re: Haze.

Well looks like the old lower resolution trick has hit haze. Free radical have confirmed that the game is running at 1024by576, the Ps3 will upscale the rest. Now i'm not too bothered by this too much and as long as it plays well and looks good, but it seems to be a continuing trend. 720p is over 300,000 pixels more than 576p.

    Re: Haze.

ign pretty much panned it in their review giving it 4.5 out of 10. I thought this one looked dodgy a while ago and and it looks like it will go down as another one that isnt going to threaten cod 4's reign.

    Feel free to add me

I don't mind them doing this sort of thing if it gives the game a stable framerate. Its didn't really effect COD4 & Halo3 so i can see this happening more.

Still not read any reviews but if the IGN one that SmileyUK has commented on, then oops.

    Re: Haze.

i tried the demo and it seems ok but i got bored of it abit. nothing special realy and with the huge amount of games coming out this year i realy cant afford to spend my time on average games like this. my expectations are very very high now. so high i may take a miss on battlefield bad company and top spin 3 which i recon are gunna be great games but not mind blowing like gta4,gow2,fable2, and mgs4
