    FFVII:Crisis Core (No spoilers please)

Been playing this the last week or so.....really quite impressed considering they have changed a lot of things from the original FF7.

The graphics are really quite impressive for a hand held and the FMV clips (some of which are a good length) are simply stunning. Storyline seems to be fairly good so far with plenty of things that explain parts in FF7. A few cheesy lines in the dialogue here and there, but it is a Japanese game.

One thing I'm confused by is the DMW....I have no idea what its going on about I understand how it levels you up, but is it random?

Its quite a decent game, its not as engrossing as the original FF7 though... maybe its because I am older... I am also finding it too easy...

As for the DMW thing... its seems a crap idea to me, but I think it is a way of randomising between the limits/summons/boosts/leveling up... In one fight I got it about 6 times in a row... not sure how it decides when you get it...

and I'm not keen on the idea of having no maximum HP/MP/AP... (when you get HP boost on the DMW, your HP goes up even if its already at maximum)...

one thing to remember to do is the missions you can access in the triangle menu at save points.. some of them are quite challenging...

I got this a couple of days ago and am loving it, I've only done the first proper mission and then just started doing the side missions. Almost done as many as I can now and onto the main mission again.

I completed this yesterday and, though I did find it got a little bit tedious in the middle running around doing side missions, the ending made the whole game worth it.

Just like FFVII, one of the few games that's made me feel a little bit emotional. I'm half-tempted to start playing it again already... right after I finish off my new FFVII save.
