    PS3 update 3.70 - iPlayer gone 'fix'

I updated to 3.70 tonight as I'd heard iPlayer was updated, well, after the reboot it, along with 4OD and ITVplayer were all gone.

I read updating PSHome might help so I went into that piece of rubbish, let it update & exited, lo and behold I had TV/Video services option with Lovefilm and an (empty) My Channels option.

Rebooted and...the TV services were gone again, went back into Home, exited and TV/Video services are back again, rebooted and...they're gone until I go into/exit PSHome....

Seems you have to at least install the iPlayer app for it to persist across reboots.

So there you go, you can get it back if you're wondering where its gone, the new iPlayer however (IMO) is a mess although its nice not to have it in a browser anymore

They arnt gone, under the TV / Video tab where they were there is a black block with 4 colours and the ps buttons under it. All of the players have been grouped in there together, you then click on them and the system downloads them to where they should be.

    No, they were gone

The TV/Video 'tab' didn'yt even show up until I went into PSHome and installed the update for that, then it showed up but my channels was empty (it should show the tabs for iplayer/4od/mubi/itv player)

A reboot and it was gone again UNTIL I installed the iPlayer app

Did you have home installed & updated? I had it installed but from ages ago. It might need to either have no Home installed or installed & fully upto date?

I had home installed from a few month back, last update I got was when I logged into E3 in the cinema. Havnt used it since.

Literally after I got the 3.70 update I got the coloured block with the download links for the players. Each one connected and downloaded in a single click with no issues.
