New bike required...
... and I've only got £125! It's just for commuting to work about a mile, occasionally on tracks (so a mountain bike is required). I had a Raleigh Incognito which got nicked (but wasn't as well screwed together as my previous bikes, a Raliegh Gritstone before that) so I don't have expensive tastes. There's a Raleigh Wildtrack on Amazon for less than £100 - would anyone be able to recommend (or otherwise)?
EDIT: Seen a Saracen Ruftrax for £100 too - any better? I remember when £100 wouldn't buy a decent new MTB, now they're quite common it would seem.. EDIT 2: Just ordered a Saracen Ruftrax for £99. The End. It's a mini adventure. ![]() |

Re: New bike required...
Turns out that despite doing the minimum reseach, getting a Saracen Ruftrax 0.5 for £99 was good going - rrp is £184. Still, it's yet to turn up yet, but it would seem to be a bit of a bargain.. I'll let you know (btw it was from bikes2udirect)
![]() edit: just rx a txt to confirm my order has been dispatched - not bad, 22hrs.. ![]() edit2: just arrived this morning, 36hrs (and one working day) after the order was placed online, out of hours. Now to put it together... |
