    Newcastle V Arsenal

So whats everyones thoughts on this game. It was great I would have loved Newcastle to win, well Taylor need scored the winner but Eboue cleared of the lined . If Newcastle would have lost then I reckon the would have been sending big sam packing

    NU played well.

Arsenal were missing all their playmakers.

im getting pissed off with ade, one minute he scores a mind blowing goal, next minute he cant even do the basic right. last nighst game pretty much summed up his performance. scored a great goal then after he was falling all over the place making silly runs like the one where rosicky and ade was both ahead of all the defenders, all ade had to do is stay in line or behind rosicky. rosicky dont have the pace that ade has.

overal i think arsenal played poorly, have been ever since the sevilla game tbh but if this was last season we would of lost both to villa and newcastle so i suppose we have made great improvement this season thats for sure

Sam wouldn't have gone if Newcastle had lost given the performance they gave, its rather hard to look down on any manager for losing to a team that is playing football like Arsenal have been doing recently, and Mike Ashley seems happy enough letting Big Sam have some more time to get things going.
Surely the only way for Newcastle to go now is up, they have the quality in the players and manager, it's just the coordination and confidence, which has improved in the last 2 games.

yea Newcastle have good players just been playing very bad but things are now looking up which is good for sam considering the line up of matches they have.

The next 4 matches i still think Sam needs to get a win under his belt. These are teams the toon army expect their team to beat. To be fair I think given the likes of fulham, birmingham etc, they damn well should be looking to build on this result.

Losing badly or playing poorly in the near future should be avoided at all costs, especially at home.

i agree, loosing to arsenal or any of the top 4 teams should not get sam the sack but if newcastle lose to the likes of birmingham, tottenham, derby etc then you realy need to question weather sam is ideal for the job, newcastle are a decent side and realy they should be fighting for UEFA football at best with the squad they have.

in regards to arsenal. we are going to struggle againts mboro with half our first team out. if we do win it wont be a flattering score line. we badly need hleb or fabregas back in this side. if we can still be 3 points clear at the top of the table by the end of the year, i will be satisfied.

it was painful to watch motd2 with arsenal v mboro... i knew the scoreline but you gotta expect more really. the highlights really didnt show arsenal as they should be really missing fabregas flamini and hleb... let alone van persie
