Re: How to gain weight?
not really a great tip for gaining weight but for anyone who does lift weights
flaxseed oil is great, take a couple of spoons a day as it keeps your joints in good shape |

Re: How to gain weight?
train Deadlift, Squat & Bench, leave out isolation work. Work down from 10reps a set to 3 over 6 months to strenthen the tendons (increase work sets as reps decrease), eat mostly Carbs and Protein in Morning-afternoon, the fats and protein in the evening.
Do Not Train Deadlift to the max limit as you WILL injure yourself at some point. Talking about good Carbs (e.g. Oats) and good fats (e.g nuts, eggs) have a look at the food supplements on MyProtein.co.uk (I am NOT affiliated just a customer) they sell at great prices and the quality is excellent. Have a look at PowerliftingUK forum for inspiration. Andy Bolton world Powerlifting champ and World record Squat & deadlifter regulary posts on this site. Its like Pele posting on a football forum! + everyone is very friendly and helpful to beginners. |

Re: How to gain weight?
I was the same until I decided the easiest way is simply to drink more. Several months of drinking 3 or 4 cans a night whilst gaming 3 or 4 nights a week has seen me gain roughly a stone in weight
I now look a bit healthier weight wise. It's worth a go, and requires little effort ![]() Saying that - most of that weight has gone round the middle and I now plan to join a gym (new job permitting) to go and burn it off in the pool. ![]() |

Re: How to gain weight?
i eat a small breakfast, probably toast or a bowl of cerial, i have pasta or sandwhich and crisps for lunch and i always have a large dinner, usually with dessert and i'll usually snack between. my evening meal is usually something like cottage pie and veg or bolognaise. im 28 and have always been very slim, i hate it! i even had my son 4 yrs ago, and lost any possible weight i had gained in 2 weeks, its rediculous!! im 5ft 3 1/2 and weigh an average of 7stones 3 lb, i look and feel bony. i've had all the nessasary medical tests but everything was fine. my doctor says its just the way i am, my parents are both very slim too, so i know that im probobly meant to be this way. but have you any ideas on how to defy genetics? i would soooo love to go on the beach in a bikini!!!

Re: How to gain weight?
http://stronglifts.com/how-to-gain-w...r-skinny-guys/
Read this, especially the first bit, and the bit about calorie dense foods. No matter how much you reckon you eat, if you aren't gaining weight then you (almost certainly) aren't eating enough, or you're eating the wrong things. It sucks, but you just have to eat and eat and eat; gaining weight is about 90% eating and 10% weights etc. As someone said before check out myprotein.co.uk, bulk whey protein and scottish oats won't set you back much, but 300g of scottish oats a day is about 1200 easy calories |
