    JOE CALZAGHE v BERNARD HOPKINS

Who's going to win this one? Calzaghe's stepped up a weight division but will that mean he's slowed down & lost his stamina? Or will he now move faster & hit harder?
Both are seasoned fighters with sound records. Hopkins is that much older though, but Joe's fighting away from home, normally the kiss of death for a lot of UK fighters.

Would like to watch this, but it's on a silly o'clock in the morning and on a channel I don't have... Oh well.

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

Listened to the fight up to the 10th round on 5L before falling asleep. Seemed to me that Joe was losing at that point and I was mildly surprised to find out this morning that he had won on a 'split decision'.

Joe won this fight by two rounds,
I'll post my score card later if anyone's interested.

The way to look at it too, is, if you remove Hopkins first round knock down, Joe won by 4 rounds, and had quite a comfortable night.

My word is Hopkins dirty though!

Duke Mackensie on 5Live gave it to Hopkins, as did a lot of other people, as did Hopkins.

Can't believe Joe got it, and in America as well.

Hardly setting the world alight, Brit boxers going to America at the moment; Hatton is completely outclassed by Mayweather, then Joe is floored and gets up to just scrape past a 43 year old Hopkins.

Was all pumped to watch this, turned to Setanta and watched some of the pre-match build up...then BAM - "You must pay £10 to actually watch the fight... gutted."
