I'm sure I asked this before in a thread but can't find it
![]() Been using Nike+ and my iPod during my runs for about a year now - great motivator - anyone else use it (or the sportband)? Is there a Hexus challenge? Or we could set one up if anyones interested

A friend at work has it and uses it a lot.
I dont do much exercise but I am gonna be making an effort to start and was looking at this. |

If your going to run this is the extra motivation needed to get out there - helped me no end
The sportsband means you don't need an iPod to join in - think it's about £40

I've used the sportband option. It's pretty good, make sure you calibrate it correctly though or it'll be useless. Not sure it's a product I'd reccommend. For what it does it is expensive. If you take the time to plan the routes you use (I use the distance measure tool in microsoft autoroute for this) and take a stopwatch with the ability to measure splits you can get the same data much cheaper.
That said, Nike+ has a nice interface and does make the whole process pretty much effortless. |

I didnt say it was a comparision for the sports band I said it was a comparision for the Nike + which is the trainers, Ipod Nano and the adapter or is that all cheaper than 130 now?
