The big game Holland vs Italy

Who's going to win this one then? Draw?

I'm going with a Holland win 2-1 (no doubt I will end up being wrong to the point of not even being close to the actual result!)

Yeah I heard that weird noise, thought my TV was going faulty

Anyways the cheats AKA Italy didn't turn up today really did they... half of them didn't even look bothered and seemed more worried about complaining about passes that wern't inch perfect and sulking until the next one happend...

will be expecting wins againts a rubbish looking france and a solid but not dangerous looking romaia to get them through. which certainly isnt out of the question...

i voted spain as "my team i want to win" (even if the poll was naff and tried to make it a "team you THINK will win"). but now i have have a split alliance. dirk did exactly what he does for liverpool, running running running. still going to lean towards spain as we are represented by torres and xabi. but i wouldnt be elated for kuyt if holland won.

    interesting times

I was at work but managed to see bits of it, by that I mean the replays of the goals. Turned the TV on with just under 30 mins played to see NL 1-0 up, then come back 5 mins later and it's 2-0. If the RVN goal had been given offside and Italy actually took some of their chances then I think it would have been a different game. However, on this occasion the dutch didn't really look like losing.

Supposedly RVN's goal was onside because he was played on by Panucci who even though was off the pitch at the time and behind the goal, was still considered to be part of the game.

Cracking game though, especially compared to the France Vs Romania game, which was arguably the worst game I have ever seen.
