I'm impressed that a .177 airgun pellet carries enough energy at that range to set off the target! I wonder what it's made of. Tannerite struggles to detonate even with .223!

Yeah, that's a helluva long way for a .177 - as kids we used to wind in an extra half length spring to the main spring and struggle like hell to cock the rifle, but we wouldn't get anywhere near that distance.

Impressive but it took quite a few shots. Admittedly the early ones were ranging shots, and he must have had a spotter, but it would be interesting to see what the repeatability was once he had zeroed in - although zeroing in is rather meaningless here as his point of aim was so far off the line of sight to the target.
