    Coupled with a cheapish/plain bench I reckon it's a good start?
It's the type of kit I stared off with, which I was happy with, sort-of.

I actually started off with a much cheaper generic Far East ebay special which made me nervous every time I put a bar on the top rack.

I suspect the Mirafit rack is much better built and I can see from the photo that the bottom bar connection flange is quite a lot more substantial than the one I had.

So I reckon it's a good place to start.

I do like a sturdy bottom bar connection flange and I cannot lie

To update this in case anyone cares, I ended up going with the mirafit Squat rack (£66) and a mirafit bench (£34) (both 250kg) damage boxed but perfect condition so I saved a few quid there.

Powerhouse fitness had a 7ft Olympic bar with 80kg of tri grip plates for £165 (5% off with code STAY) so I grabbed that too.

A great little setup and once I get my floor mats my man-shed is looking good!
