    Crucial M4 slow boot time

    specs:
    Windows 7 ultimate 64bit
    Gigabyte ga-z77-d3h
    I5-3570k
    8gb crucial vengeance 1600mhz
    crucial M4 128gb
    2tb seagate baracuda

When I first started using the ssd for the first week or so, my system would load up before the 4 dots joined up for the windows logo. But now it takes 10 seconds after they have joined up to load. The only big recent thing I've installed onto it, is starcraft 2.

Why is it so slow all of a sudden?

Re: Crucial M4 slow boot time

The speeds look normal, it could just be that after a week of usage all your drivers and start-up programs/utilities have to be loaded up now compared to a fresh install.

If you type "msconfig" into the start menu it will bring up a window where you can customise what programs Windows loads during start-up - you can even turn off the loading screen (tick 'No-GUI boot' under the boot tab) for that bit of extra speed.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
