    Does this mean it's now risky to buy OCZ products such as their SSDs?

    When wasn't it risky to buy a OCZ SSD?

    But if you needed another reason not to, yeah, guess this would be it. You'll still deal with the retailer in the UK if you have an issue, but beyond that you'll probably be on your own if they vanish.
