Buying HDD: Scan vs OCUK

ebuyer recently were not so good, thought their packaging was rather thin.

All the HDDs I'v bought from Scan have arrived in footballs of bubble wrap. It took me some time with a pair of scissors to free the drive. I was certainly not concerned about any impacts !

Yep, i always have to get the penknife out to get into any scan delivery, even if its just a couple of sata cables

Only company i have ordered a hard drive from and then regretted it is ebuyer as they don't put much additional protection in at all.

Some of the things I got from Amazon were just stuffed into a box with some brown paper. These were things like cpu, ram, motherboard, psu, keyboard. Scan however, use a lot of bubble wrap for my graphics cards
