2 PCs
One is with Sandisk Extreme 120GB (SDSSDX120GG25), about 2 years old.
Total Reads: 6.51TB
Total Writes: 11.26TB
Total Power on hours: 12334
Cannot report power on count as I updated the firmware about 2 months ago and now it stands at 25.
The drive's file system mysteriously got corrupted once and I though the drive is dead but after a low level format and firmware update it continued working as new. Odd.
The other one is OCZ Solid 3 120GB (OCZ-SOLID3), about 2.5 years old.
Total Reads: 4.17TB
Total Writes: 6.55TB
Total Power on hours: 11895
Total Power on counts: 446
Samsung Magician doesn't support OEM drives by design.
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad OEM SM841 (based on 840 Pro) and spend quite a bit of time researching only to find there is no way round it unfortunantly. You also suffer on any firmware updates as Samsung has to send them out through the OEM, who apparently have to spend a fair amount of time testing, tweaking, etc... so seem to take much longer to release.
Right now I've written 7.87 TB to my 128GB Samsung 830, I think I've had it since august 2011 (Could be 2012 but I'm fairly sure it was 2011)
The good thing about technology by the time your ssd stops functioning it is outdated anyway so time for a new one got my ssd about two years ago 500gb or so in that time didn't use it for much but Sims3 until recently.
Around 3TB. I have had it for a year and it is a 830 120gb model.
