    SSD M2 NVME Support

    Hi

am wondering if someone has experience on this front

I am wondering if my mobo will support the NVME version of sm951, I've searched the internet high and low and seems I can't find an answer to this, I know the non NVME one is supported

    I have the ASUS H170 M-Plus

    many thanks for your help

I think the Z series mobo's should be fine.. Yours is doubtful.. I would try contacting Asus directly and see their answer!

    Re: SSD M2 NVME Support

I'm about 60% sure I saw somewhere that said it would be compatible with NVMe but I can't find it.

This is promising - in the conclusion it suggests that older chipset boards can get firmware updates for NVMe.

You may have trouble if you want to use it as your boot drive though (again from what I've read)

    Re: SSD M2 NVME Support

have you try to contact ASUS? there are other brand like MSI that support NVME on H170 bios. My Asus Z170 does support it your H170 should also.
