I have a Asus B150i mobo and it has option for m.2. Are there any cons? Only thing I see is if I have to replace it, have to take everything out.
And is micron brand good?

The main drawback is price - NVMe M.2 SSDs tend to be a bit more expensive than the SATA equivalent. What size are you looking for, & what's your budget?
Micron are a huge company that manufacture NAND is association with Intel. They usually sell their products under the 'Crucial' brand.
Check your motherboard manual for the number of lanes etc it has. It's sometimes more sensible to go for one with a PCIe adapter to get better throughput. Depending on the class of device you put in.
Well I'm doing a budget build with 1050 ti so want 120gb for OS and apps.
I think I need the m.2 2280, so as long as its 2280, I'm good to go?
Your motherboard should accept M.2 SSDs of different physical sizes - best check the instruction manual though.
My first choice for an NVMe SSD would be a Samsung 960 Evo, but the smallest capacity is 250Gb. This Corsair one might be worth a look though:

I have a couple of m.2 SSDs - yeah they're nice, but I wouldn't pay a premium for 120GB - it's quite a restrictive capacity.
You can probably find a 240GB SATA3 SSD for similar money and, outside of benchmarks, you won't really notice a difference.
I can get micron/sandisk for £30-£35 'new'. This will be only for OS. Good price?
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262871800592
I'll have a look.
Is this worth it for £23?
In the manual it says:
M.2 socket 3 with M key, type 2242*/2260/2280
Unlikely given the two notches in the connector and the general shape. Everything else in the description like the 2280 also points to it being an SATA M.2 drive rather than mSATA.
I wouldn't buy any sort of flash memory from ebay personally. There are loads of fakes around.
Like Jim I'd rather pay £60 for the more comfortable capacity of 240GB than save the £20 and risk running out of space on the 120GB.
I see the difference now, thanks for pointing that out guys.
Is this 2.5" Intell ssd worth buying used for £23?

Only drawback really is that the temps can get a little high on M.2s. Otherwise they're pretty hot
So is that used drive any good? Is it slow compared to the other entry ssds? Too much useage?
