So who else has ordered one?

    Which one did you order?

Any accessories caught your eye yet?

    Thinking about rooting and romming?

I got the 16GB one and i have been looking at the Zagg Flex keyboard

Not sure about a case just yet though.

Re: Google Nexus 7 Discussion Thread

I would be more excited, but I managed to pick up an HP TP when they were on sale for a silly price.

However,I do think the 8GB version,is an excellent price. AFAIK,the USB port can be used to attach flash drives?! If that is the case having USB host abilities will make the Nexus 7 even more useful.

Already have a fruit based product (not the PlayBook! ) so probably won't be getting one of these. However I am interested to see how it pans out. My mate may sell his Kindle Fire and get one.

I am super excited about this, literally can't wait to get it. I pre-ordered the 16GB one, im going away for a week soon and wanted something to take with me, I'll throw a few movies and books on it.
I haven't seen any accessories for it yet but.. I have spent literally all of my time watching unboxing and reviews on youtube.

16GB one ordered for the missus and i'm keen to see the difference as compared to my iPad 3. I use a tablet quite a lot (more than I thought I would) and it does appeal to me to have all the features of the android ecosystem (4.1 is great on my GNexus) in tablet form. The keyboard on my iPad drives me potty for example..

Re: Google Nexus 7 Discussion Thread

I had a nice little bonus from work this month so I've ordered the 16Gb one for my wife. Rather pleased actually. I was going to get her the Asus Transformer so this gets her the same processor in a size thats actually more useful to her as it'll fit in her bag better and saves me 200 quid which I can put towards my new graphics card. Win win situation really.

from what i have been reading it seems the reports are mixed about when delivery will occur. Recurring comments are around the 19th-30th but i suppose it will all depend on the demand.

I cant see the surface competing on the same level if im honest, it looks great hardware-wise but the level of design that has gone into it will come at a cost. Certainly wont be near the £160-200 mark

These things are just impulse buy money, they will sell buckets of them.
