    iPad vs Surface Pro

    Hi guys,

Looking to get a Tablet for business use/remote managing a server - wondering if people had a suggestion out of the two?

Or if indeed there is a better one?

    Thanks!

Define business use. For remote management, there are plenty of iPad apps that allow that. Can't speak for the Surface Pro. If you need Office then you'll want the Surface Pro.

I would say iPad but I have found the amount of new apps coming to the devices (primarily games) can be a distraction, so for business I would say the Surface Pro

    None of the above.

If it is just about a little bit of MMC and Remote Desktop, get an RT tablet, like the £249 dell one at Argos.

It has MSTC for remote desktop, this has the best support for windows systems, it has PowerShell for scripting this stuff together, and MMC for everything else.

Hands down the best platform for the price. If you need more complex things, get the Pro.
