Unhappy N5200BR Pro - question about neworking switch

    Hey there,

Just wondering: any way to have the N5200BR Pro act as a straight switch, rather than a router with DHCP? I've played with all of the available settings, and I can't see a way to do it. Can anyone help?

    Here's my set-up:

DIR-655 Dlink Router hooked to the internet, the N5200BR Pro and a bunch of other devices.

Additional computers hooked up to the N5200BR Pro

The devices hooked up to the N5200BR Pro don't see the devices hooked up to the DIR-655 Router, though all see the internet fine. *very* annoying. Before I got the N5200BR Pro, I had an old linksys router (Wireless-G) and an 100BT switch, and everything worked great. I'm trying to avoid having to go out and buy myself a gigabit switch, if I can help it.

Firmware on the N5200BR Pro is 2.00.00

    Does anyone have *any* suggestions?

    Thanks a mil in advance!!

Yeah - tried that. What happens is this:

    1) The Thecus NAS doesn't pick up a WAN IP address any more, no matter what plug I put the cable into.

    2) It DOES get an LAN IP address, but I can't seem to connect to it with any computer either hooked up to any of the ports

Am I doing something completely wrong?

    Thanks

HAH. I'm stupid . It works.

I forgot I had set up Mac Address filtering on my Router. DUH.
