I created a folder named "ftp" Set the access rights: Browsable = yes Public = yes WebAccess = yes Uploaded the document "installateur_2003.pdf" When I enter the url manually: "http:\\xxx.hopto.org\raid\ftp\installateur_2003.pdf" the document is opened When I click on the file in the webbrowser he tryes to open: "http:\\\raid\ftp\installateur_2003.pdf" --> This will result in an error message: "Adress not found". Find here my network settings: h ttp://666kb.com/i/aw92zdnyym21tpmvg.jpg Can somebody tell my what I'm doing wrong? N299 FW: V1.00.26 br. Christian |

Re: N299 WebDisk: No download possible
What do you want to confirm ?
Try it and you will see. Don´t matter about the configuration cause you see that Webdisk will use wrong links by download something e.g h ttp:///raid/..... thats definitly wrong. So when will this fixed ? |

Update to V1.00.29beta1 and than load facotry. B. 1.Back up all data out of N299. 2.Clear up all HDD partition from PC for a brand new insatllation 3.Create a new RAID and uploading V1.00.29beta1 on new RAID volume. C. Provide an IP address with port 80 & 9596 for us to chekcing what's going on. Otherwise we have to spent more time duplicate your issue to fix this. Yvon.

Having got annoyed by the same problem, and having had the same advice, i can confirm that download is possible.
I am no network expert!! I have an orange livebox which is not well supported. My mistakes were not signing in with https when I had set up that port forward, and trying to access my website from www etc., when it's name from Dyndns was just plain drrmead etc. All parts of the router need to be set up with the same web access name of course. Good luck. Rob. |
