Hi,
I apologise for this post as I've seen similar posts but they've had private email replies ... My N5200 had 4 WD 500GB disks (2 x KS and 2 x AAKS) in RAID10. Both KS disks have failed according to the system, and there is no RAID configured or file shares created now. I've replaced the failed disks with another 2 AAKS and tried to bring the system back up. I receive the following errors (with and without the 2 new disks in). I'm running the latest firmware. 2008/02/23 15:16:40 N5200 : Swap Disk Damage 2008/02/23 15:16:29 N5200 : The system N5200 is suffering the severe disk problem. 2008/02/23 15:16:22 N5200 : The system N5200 is suffering the severe disk problem. 2008/02/23 15:16:17 N5200 : N5200 boot 2008/02/23 15:16:14 N5200 : Can't enable lvm 2008/02/23 15:16:13 N5200 : mdadm: /dev/md1 has been started with 2 drives (out of 4). 2008/02/23 15:16:13 N5200 : Assemble RAID [md1] from [ /dev/sda2 /dev/sdb2 ] 2008/02/23 15:16:12 N5200 : Can't enable lvm 2008/02/23 15:16:12 N5200 : Assemble RAID warning, try to force assemble RAID 2008/02/23 15:16:11 N5200 : mdadm: /dev/md1 has been started with 2 drives (out of 4). 2008/02/23 15:16:11 N5200 : [Disk sdb] UUID[raid10;8bf17f27:86bf69d3:19f52d0d:662d91cc;Wed Feb 28 19:51:19 2007] 2008/02/23 15:16:11 N5200 : [Disk sda] UUID[raid10;8bf17f27:86bf69d3:19f52d0d:662d91cc;Wed Feb 28 19:51:19 2007] 2008/02/23 15:16:11 N5200 : Assemble RAID [md1] from [ /dev/sda2 /dev/sdb2 ] I would love to recover the data contained on the 2 'original' disks. What can I do to achieve this? Any help would be most appreciated. |
