Help with access from web
Hiya folks,
I've been trying to setup access to my n2100 via a netgear DG834GT on the internet, but i'm completely at a loss. I've followed the guide from here, but still no avail. How should I set up my router?

Each route having difference design but from same conpect, please refer to following link for port forwarding or conault Netgeat for advance confiuration: How is Port Forwarding Configured?

hi, i'm having similar trouble with my FTP setup...
I have forwarded port 21 to the Thecus device (via the router), and this has been done correctly, since I have other ports forwarded for other devices, and they work fine...however, whenever I try to access the FTP server using CuteFTP or SmartFTP, it just times out when connecting... maybe the FTP stream encryption is playing a role? p.s. my router does not recognise Thecus as an accepted device to set my public IP...maybe an issue for others? |
