Why are the N5200 PRO media servers so slow?
What sort of speed are you getting with your N5200 media servers? I've tried both the Mediabolic and Twonkymedia media servers and both are running very slow. FTP transfers are much faster, which doesn't make any sense since ftp uses tcp and UPnP uses udp. To watch my HD videos I need sustained transfer speeds of 18Mb/s minimum. No way am I getting anywhere near that. As a result, video playback is choppy with pauses longer than plays. The N5200 obviously has the speed as does the gigabit network its connected to. So why is it so slow?
