N5200 FTP / Web Login and CD slow
Hi!
I have a N5200 (non Pro) and am pretty happy so far. Had it for 8 months now, speed and support is great. Problem I have had for a while now is that the login-procedure takes f o r e v e r. I really mean, after entering User / pass in Web or FTP, it takes 20-30 seconds untill it will let you in. The dir change will take for ever (10-20 sec) too. I tried resetting, i even got a new flash chip in the meantime (different problem there), but still.. so it seems to be a problem with the RAID / user permissions. Anybody got a clue? I did not try a filesystem check yet because Im affraid of the time this will take (5x750GB). Anybody had a similar problem? I would hate to have to format the thing and copy all the stuff back on...  Regards, Tom |

No issues with that - almost immediate response on login via FTP or via Web. Dir changes are fast too.
Ah yes, I'm on FW 2.00.04 on a non Pro N5200, 5x500GB in Raid 5. br Peter |
