Hi All
Wonder if anyone can help. This has now happened twice. The first time it sorted itself out after 1 hour. This time nothing... I powered down the unit properly from the web interface. The unit was left plugged in overnight with the rear power switch on. 12 hours later the power button does not power the unit on. There are no lights, no signs of activity. I have checked the wire, the plug, the fuse and read all the forum posts. Anyone help me get it back again. It works fine so long as I never ever power it off. Seriously no problems at all in day to day use. I just can't seem to turn it back on again. Latest firmware has been applied so no problems there. Cheers knowlr |

Dear Sir,
Perhaps N5200 hardware get some issue, following suggestion for your reference: 1. Confirm N5200 power cord and connection is fine. 2. Remove all of HDD and try to power up N5200, if it is cause from HDD. 3. Contact with your Thecus reseller/dealer for RMA service directly. Yvon. |

Re: N5200BR PRO does not power on
Contacted supplier here in UK who informed me they had had a batch of N5200s that appear to have faulty power supplies.
Replacing the power supply worked with no data loss and no loss of settings. Unit now works great again! |
