N5200Pro Synchronization
Hi,
i got the following setup on my Thecus N5200Pro (Firmware v.2.00.08): First I succesfully integrated our NAS into our Windows XP Network Enviroment and added the AD. I created a folder and set him "not public". There are a lof different other folders and I decided to give certain users the permission to read and write. and now the following problem occurs: Incidental, when the users want to synchronize their Documents it happens they receive an Error (They use the standard Windows Sync function). It seems to me, that the Document is locked, but the file is not in use. As a workaround i can open the "offline Documents"-Folder on the Windows Client, open every single document, save it and start a new Synchronization. Then the Windows sync Tool asks me if i want to use the new document version or the network version. The problem occurs only with Office Documents. But this is definitely not a solution. Sometime the version does not match and the users have to add their changes manually, which is really a waste of time. kind regards, Marlon
