N5200 slow
Hi,
I have been using the N5200 for a year now. Everything was ok until last week, when it suddenly became excruciatingly slow. Copying a 1 MB file takes 2 minutes. There doesn't seem to be any problem with the disks. All indicators say it's healthy. I've also upgraded to the newest FW, but it is still slow. We're using macs. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! |

I would look for:
a) is there still enough place on the N5200 - if You use more than 90% then the ext3 filesysytem used on the N5200 becomes slow b) a network problem? c) a harddisk problem which starts now (may be You can check the harddisks one by one offline or install the INFO module and check there the smart values) br Peter |
