N5200Pro Webserver 1.0.2 and PHP settings
I have set up the webserver module 1.0.2 from the Thecus support site. My N5200Pro is running the 2.00.08 firmware and includes the MYSQL_5 plugin module from earlier firmware as suggested on the Thecus wiki.
I realise that the MYSQL_5 module uses the main administration httpd server which does not have mbstring enabled on the PHP, but I was wondering if there was any way to enable it on the webserver module - phpMyAdmin complains and I seem to be having some character set problems which were not occuring on another (mbstring-enabled) web server. Is there a source version of the module available? Thanks |

Re: N5200Pro Webserver 1.0.2 and PHP settings
mbstring is used for double byte charater languages. if you don't use a language like Chinese etc. it is not a problem that mbstring is not available.. mbstring is enabled in php.ini but not compiled with the actual php version distributed by Thecus.
