    N299 & Ftp

HI, I have an N299 box with 2 Samsung 500gb HDD's in raid 1. I have setup FTP on the N299 and I can access it from within my LAN, but once I connect to the net (Using a second ISP) I can login to the N299 but when the list command is initiated there are issues with the PASV ports. I can not find any where in the N299 to specify the pasv ports I want to use.

I have forwarded the FTP port on my router, but need to know what the PASV ports are on the N299 so I can forward them as well.

    any help appreciated.

hmm, theoretically any port greater 1023 can be used and I assume there is no limitation set in the FTP server.
Usually new access routers have the possibility to enable the FTP service in a way, that the router automatically forwards the needed ports based on the command in the control channel (via port 21) - but this seems not the case with Your router.
May be You find something in the router logs.
