Hi
I found two temp files on Thecus download page which seems to be a program for editing the N299 firmware but these files were password protected zip files Thecus can you please give us the password that it makes sense for putting these files on your download page. |

Re: Temp Files on download page
Hi,
ah, I saw these files already. How do you know they are useful for changing the N299 firmware (although useless due to the encryption)? I don't think Thecus will provide the key. I assume the files were put there by accident; why should they be protected if meant for the public? Regards Peter |

Re: Temp Files on download page
Hi,
I would be glad to hear from you if you will be able to unzip the files. BTW: Firmware 1.00.24 is available as source and due to the GPL I think Thecus is obliged to make any firmware publicly available... Regards Peter |

Re: Temp Files on download page
Hi,
Thecus has published version 1.00.28 and the sources. We still need an option to get access to the N299 to be able to install self made firmware... Regards Peter |
