    n7700 - adding new spares

    Yvon,

I have an n7700 box filled up with 5x1T drives at the moment.
As new drives come out, with bigger capacitys (it is said that 2T version will come up in 2009), would it have been possible for me to expand my already built setup by adding 2 additional discs in the unit, that their capacity does not match the already 1T ones, without loosing data ?

To be it short, would it have been possible for one to replace all 1T drives with newer and bigger ones, one by one so that at the end he would have bigger capacity?
That is without loosing data and without having to backup everything elsewhere !?!?
