| N7700 Fw 2.01.08 and the nsync problem Sory for my bad english! Yesterday, I updated my 2 N7700 with Firmware 2.01.08 and xfs-filesystem. Created a nsync-task, tested setting and it runs. But not the 3,49 TB is synced from N7700 1 to N7700 2, only 390GB were in the nsync-folder on N7700 2. The task shows: 2009/03/12 07:28:24 n7700a : Network Synchronization : Task Nsync_task_1 status [ Nsync success. ]. But there's a "little Different" between 3,49TB and 349GB.... Both N7700's have 7x Seagate 1,5TB HDD's and the raid-settings were R5. R5 does not replace a Backup, but a redundant R5 becomes nearly No way to get 2 N7700's synced without a 3rd PC????? It would be nice to have a Modul with frontend for Linux-Dummies to sync 2 or more N7700's. regards |

| Re: N7700 Fw 2.01.08 and the nsync problem The problem you are hitting has been reported. NSync batches up all the data to move and sends it as one big stream/file. It has a 3TB limit for data, so it aborts. Thecus has PROMISED to fix this. I am kind of surprised it didn't make it into this released FW! |
