N5200BR Pro weird problem - help?

    Hey everyone,

I thought i'd post to this forum 'cause it seems to be THE one for Thecus users.

In the past few days, my Thecus N5200BR Pro has been behaving strangely. I'm not sure when it actually happens, but at some point (I only see the end result), it's not responding at all. Also, the bottom LED is on (solid, not flashing). (The LED which has the (!) symbol next to it). I turn the machine off, and then it will not power up again. Pressing the circular power button at the front of the machine does nothing. If I leave it for 10-20 minutes, then it will power up and all seems normal. The first time I did this, I thought maybe it was a one-off problem. The next day (today), I came back from work, the machine was on (I have power management enabled, so it turns itself on automatically - sometimes before I get home) and the same issue was there: (!) light was solid and the machine was not responding. Again, if I turn it off, it won't turn back on when I hit the power button, but if I leave it for 10-20 minutes, it seems to be OK again. This is new behaviour ! - it's never done this before.....

Then, this morning, trying to turn it on, it had different behaviour. When I press the power button, lights come on as if it's going to turn on for a half second, and then it turns off again. If I try a few times, it comes on again, but goes into "self test" forever, with the (!) light on (solid not flashing)

Any ideas what could be causing this issue? And what the hell does the solid light next to the (!) symbol mean? In the manual it says that if that light is flashing, it means the RAID has degraded or something, but my data (when I can get the machine properly turned on) seems to be all OK.

I talked to the support guy at Thecus and he said I should try replacing the PSU, but by the behaviour, it seems that the power supply is actually feeding power to the machine, so it doesn't make sense to me.....

I sent him my conf.bin and he asked me to upgrade from 2.00.12 to 2.00.16, which I did.

    My set up:

    N5200BR
    Firmware: 2.00.16
    5 x 1TB Samsung HD103UJ
    Raid 5

Thanks in advance for your help!
